First Day of Preschool 2011

Philadelphia Zoo

We spent Friday at the Philadelphia Zoo - which was a great trip for both of them.

There were giant turtles

 Huge gorillas

 The statue was Sean's particular favorite

 Every animal Sean waved and said "hiyeeeeee"

 flamingos

 Sean was excited for the giraffe

 Dylan got to test out a huge tractor

 There was a petting zoo

 Right after this Sean threw down the brush and walked out. Apparently brushing goats is not his thing.

 There was a big parade for the kids at the end of the day.  Sean LOVED holding the sign.

 Dylan marched in the parade around the pond (little one with the green hat)

Crayola Factory

We did a bunch of day trips for our vacation (our power-less vacation).  When I asked Dylan which was his favorite he keeps saying Crayola Factory.  I thought this was funny since it seemed kind of low key (and it was the least expensive).  Looking back at the pictures though I see why it was his favorite.  Lots of hands on activities - perfect if you are almost 4.

 The giant screen behind him is projecting pictures of them dancing with weird picture effects.  Dylan tested it out completely.

 Sean even busted a move or two.

 There was a little playground room which Sean thought was wonderful

 Something about piles of crayons is just awesome

 There was a dirt pit thing that Sean destroyed

 Then they had some building blocks that they loved

 Yep, hanging out with Crayons is a good time
